My journey began as an executive assistant and administrator that quickly translated into a professional career. Working with an accountant who was leaving a prior company, she recommended that I step in as the bookkeeper. I went back to school to streamline the bookkeeping and accounting processes and have never looked back!. I love my job! Over the years and working with several accounting firms, I have honed my skills in not only managing finances but also in setting up intricate accounting systems tailored to the specific needs of each organization I have worked with.

I have a proven track record of implementing systems that streamline financial processes, leading to increased efficiency and accuracy. On a personal level, I am multifaceted individual whose passions span the culinary and musical realms. Known as Chef Laura in the culinary world, I taught cooking classes at Kitchen Therapy in the South Surrey/White Rock area.  I have a knack for cooking delectable dishes, drawing inspiration from a wide range of cuisines. I in turn, have catered through word of mouth, starting the path to catering for charities, weddings, memorials, executive meetings and birthdays.

​My love for cooking is matched by my zeal for music. My musical journey is diverse, encompassing everything from soulful blues, classic rock, Indie folk, classical to uplifting gospel choir performances. With humble artistic expression, whether through food or song, I like to reflect a deep connection to both crafts and continuously pursue creativity and excellence.
